Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award orders against Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-96-G-0001 for the repair, overhaul, refurbishment, modification, and evaluation of the Penguin MK2 MOD7 AGM-119B Missile System. The orders will include the repair of missile sections, assemblies, subassemblies, containers, and related support equipment and missile control systems. The requirement includes the procurement of all related supplies and services. NAVAIR intends to award these orders during FY '99, and FY 2000, to Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace (AS) P.O. Box 1003, N-3601 Kongsberg, Norway. Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace is the sole developer, designer and manufacturer of the Penguin missile, and is the only known firm with the necessary knowledge, data, equipment, facilities and experience to perform this effort with in the required time frame.
