Davy, Regional Contract Specialist, 606-253-8892 The Federal Bureau of Prisons intends to award a construction contract to a reasonably priced, responsible contractor for the construction of a manlift storage building at the Federal Correctional Institution, Cumberland, Maryland. This requirement is 100% set aside for small business. The magnitude of this project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. Contractor shall be responsible for constructing a wood framed pole building approximately 40' x 72' for storing the manlift and other tractors and mowers. To be included in this cost shall be the concrete slab and radiant heating system. There is also a requirement for masonry walls to be built within the storage building. All work shall be accomplished in accordance with the specifications to be included in the solicitation packages. The anticipated issue of solicitations date is September 15, 1998 with an anticipated bid due date of October 21, 1998.
