Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has the need for Professional Horse
Trainers to board and train wild horses. The horse trainers must have
a facility large enough to board at least 20 wild horses per month, and
its facility must be located near at least one of the following areas:
100 mile radius of Phoenix, AZ; 100 mile radius of Kingman, AZ; 25
mile radius of Yuma, AZ; 100 mile radius of Cheyenne, WY; 175 mile
radius of Burns, OR; and 100 mile radius of Las Vegas, NV. The BLM
anticipates awarding six contracts for wild horse training purposes,
for a trial period of 6 months. The contractors shall furnish all
labor, the training facility, supplies, equipment, and miscellaneous
materials necessary to perform the training services. Interested
offerors must have experience in training ungentled horses in the age
group of 4 to 10 years old, and preferably, ungentled wild horses in
the age group of 4 to 10 years old. This requirement is 100% set-aside
for small businesses whose average annual receipts for the preceding
3 fiscal years do not exceed $5 million, under SIC 8999. Proposal
