73 -- STEAM-JACKETED KETTLE SOL w13g07-8210-1005 POC Purchasing Agent JEFFREY BALDWIN (Site Code DAAN02) The U.S. Army Soldier Systems Command has a requirement for a Steam-Jacketed Kettle and a System Support Package. The kettle (quantity of 14) shall be a Groen Model Number EE20 OR EQUAL with the following salient characteristics: The unit shall be floor standing. The unit shall conform to MIL-K-43359, Type I. The electrical requirements for the oven are 208V, 50/60 Hz and 3 Phase -- must be 20 gallon capacity. The System Support Package (quantity of 7) requires the manufacturer to identify and supply the five highest mortality components of the steam kettle and shall supply a quantity to support six months usage for two steam kettles. These components shall have the capability of being fixed on the field. This requirement is one hundred percent set aside for small business. The Standard Industrial Code for this procurement is 5046. The Small Business Size Standard is 100. Requests to bid on the aforementioned requirement shall be received no later than 26 August 1998.
