This is a notice of intent to negotiate with SCI Technology, Incorporated, 8600 South Memorial Parkway, Huntsville, Alabama, 35807 on an other than full and open competitive basis to purchase signal conditioning cards, part number 5219210-001 (Analog Data Filter-1) for use in the analog discrete data acquisition units of the Common Airborne Instrumentation System (CAIS). The government intends to negotiate on a Sole Source basis with SCI Technology, for they are the manufacturer of these signal conditioning cards and are the only source that can provide the cards that are electronically, environmentally, and functionally compatible and interchangeable with CAIS. Delivery is required FOB Destination to the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Building 665, 47179 Vaughn Road, Patuxent River, Maryland 20670-1614 by January 1999.
