Flexible Borescope, p/n IF4S5-15, Mfr: Olympus America Corp. The borescope is used to inspect the engine output shaft flexible coupling, p/n 70361-08004-043, for cracked laminates. The borescope would be an ultra thin 4.1mm flexible borescope with two-way articulation: 1230 degrees up and down. A working lenth of 59.1 inch. A side viewing direction and a field of view of 65 degrees. The fiberscopes flexible probe can be snaked around corners, over obstacles, and past hinderances. The inspection tube has long-lasting spring coil interior under a stainless steel mesh that is covered by a PVC water proof layer, topped by an out steel mesh impregnated with plastic to prevent fraying.
