Hammond, 402 Scott Drive, Unit 3A1, Scott AFB IL 62225-5302 Cargo and passenger service for US Southern Command (Central and South America and the Caribbean region)utilizing contractor-furnished, IFR equipped, multi-engine, turbine powered, STOL aircraft capable of operating in/out of semi-prepared airstrips with a minimum CBR of 7. Cargo requirements include transporting 3,500 pounds of pallitized foodstuffs, parts, and H-60 helicopter blades crated for shipment in containers 29'0" x 3'8" x 1'6", etc. between Panama City, Panama or other locations to Patuca, Ecuador or other locations. Service is required five times weekly to Patuca with a primary and backup aircraft to ensure highest degree of reliability. Passsenger requirements include transporting a minimum of 12 passengers with baggage from Panama City, Panama or other locations to various locations within the Southern Command area of responsibility. Pricing will consist of paying a flat rate per month per aircraft and a flying hour rate for each hour flown. Cargo flying hours are estimated at 2,500 per year and passenger flying hours are estimated at 500 per year. Duration of contract is over four years (base period plus four option years).
