This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. THe items solicited are the rental of 1 each 20 cubic yard rolloff and 2 each 6 cubic yard front load containers for a period of 12 months. Also the rental of a 20 or 40 cubic yard rolloff container for six 2-week periods within 1 years time. Services required are the wast disposal of vendor provided containers and Government provided containers (20 cubic yard rolloff, 6 cubic yard front load, 40 cubic yard breakawaycompactor receiver box, 20 cubic yard closed top roll off (manifested load). Period of Performance is 12 months (October 1, 1998 through September 30, 1999) with 2 12 month options to exted. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commerical applies. The specific evaluation criteria included in paragraph (a) of that provision is technical capabilty of the offeror to meet the government requirements and past performance.
