Government personnel will load the trailers. Contractor will drop an empty trailer and transport the loaded trailer to Granite city, IL. Approximately one trailer will be filled every two weeks. Solicitation will be issued on/about September 1, 1998, and close on/about October 1, 1998. Anticipated award date is November 16, 1998. The base period of the contract will expire September 30, 1999. Three one-year options will be included. Award will be made based on price and other factors, as explained in the solicitation.
