Bonner 440.838.6052 The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 10000 Brecksville Road, Brecksville, Ohio intends to procure advisory and assistance services to identify and provide the knowledge and skills necessary to enable project managers, trainers and selected personnel at selected sites to successfully implement the increasing number of Information Technology (IT) roll outs. The period of services will be from September 1, 1998 through September 30, 1999. In Phase I the Contractor shall assess and analyze the current implementation and training process for system wide IT roll outs. In Phase II the Contractor shall formulate the strategies and activities to address specific needs for each target audience, implement the strategies and activities to address specific needs identified in Phase I and consistent with the overall process improvement approach. Phase III shall be the implementation of the strategies and activities developed in Phase II. In Phase IV the Contractor shall apply the principles and concepts provided in Phase III to the planning for a real Veterans Healthcare Administration roll out. In Phase V the Contractor shall provide for the development and demonstration of a generic evaluation process/instrumentation, both formative and cumulative for use in IT roll outs.
