for a commercial item. This announcement constitutes the only
solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation
will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for
quote. Solicitaion documents and incorporated and claused provisions
and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular,
dated Oct. 1995. SIC Code: 7378 DO Rating: S10 Performance Work
Statement: Scope: The contractor shall provide all personnel, material,
supervision, labor, transportation, and equipment necessary to perform
hardware repair on the Government owned F-15 Computer Test Station,
AN/GSM 231. The system equipment covered under this contract is located
in building 308 at SA-ALC, Kelly AFB,Texas. The contractor shall
perform to the standards to this contract. Response time shall be
within the next working day and services will be performed "only"
during normal working hours. Government Funished Property & Service:
The Government will provide adequate working space, including heat,
light, electric current and outlets at the site where the equipment is
repaired. The Government will furnish a telephone access for local
calls only. Utilities: The Government will furnish the contractor
reasonable amounts of electric power and other utilities. The amounts
shall be limited to that necessary to perform repair(s) under this
contract. The contractor is not authorized to make long distance calls
at Government expense. The contractor will provide access to a
telephone for local calls only. Contractor Funished Items & Services:
Except for those items or services specifically stated to be Government
furnished above, the contractor will furnish everything required to
perform this Performance Work Statement. Specific Tasks: The objective
ot this Performance Work Statement (PWS) is to define the requirements
for a contractor to accept system responsibility and provide on-site
hardware repair for the peculiar support. F-15 Computer Test Station,
AN/GSM 231. The peculiar test equipment is located at SA-ALC Building
308, Kelly AFB, Texas. Repair Responsibilities of Contractor:
Contractor shall provide all equipment, and special tools, to keep the
equipment in operating condition. Repair Services: On-site repair
shall be performaed by the contracor. As much as possible, repair shall
be performed so as not to interfere with the Governent's operation.
Offerors are requested to submit with their offer, in support of their
price, catatlogs or price list, and any reoccuring or non-recurring
direct cost that will significantly affect their price. FOB Point:

concerning this acquisition. If your concerns are not satisfied by the
contracting officer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns
from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development
phase of an acquisition. The Ombudsman does not diminish the authority
of the program director or Contracting Officer, but communicates
Contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the
appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman shall
maintain strict confidentially as to the source of the concern. The
Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the
