Crane has determined the following two commercial configurations of hardware and software systems will satisfy its immediate know requirements and seeks information to support the planning phase of the procurement. Warranty must be explained and priced separately. Crane will be seeking to complete the procurement on the basis of best value considering: COST, DELIVERY TERMS, TECHNICAL AND MECHANICAL SUPPORT. Manufacturers and distributors are requested to submit information related to computer systems which will satisfy Crane's stated requirements for both hardware and software. Technical and mechanical support information should be included in the explanation of the terms and cost of the warranty offering. Vendors are also encouraged to provide information related to public and industry recognition or awards which their firm has received for customer service. Vendors are requested to provide their most favorable delivery terms and pricing information for the following quantities, to assist Crane in its budgetary estimates. The identified quantity breakouts are for planning purposes only and identical quantity breakouts also apply to Operating System/Software, Installation, Monitor and Warranty requirements. Quantity breakouts are: 50 to 75 each; 76 to 100 each; 101 to 125 each; 126 to 150 each; 151 to 175 each; 176 to 200 each; and 201 to 300 each.
