This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number DAKF23-98-R-0221, is issued as a request for proposal (RFP), the solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-05, SIC 3949. Small Business Size 500 employees. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. All prices shall be F.O.B. Destination, Fort Campbell, Kentucky, and shall be delivered 60 calendar days after obligation of funds. Clause at FAR 52.232.18 Availability of Funds, applies to this acquisition. Requirement is to provide 2 each, Wire Guided Lightweight Moving Target Vehicle, holds targets weighing up to 150 lbs, gas powered engine, remote start, target activation, speed control device, and direction from a hand held radio device. Control device collects data information from the mover. Status includes track limits, hit kill information. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to Offeror-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and any addenda to the provision. The provision FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation -Commercial Items is applicable, the Government will make a single award, firm fixed price contract to the responsible offeror whose offer will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
