This ammouncement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested & a written solicitation will not be issued. (II) This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation, number 117-0553. (III)The solicitation document & incorporated provisions & clauses are those in effect through FAC 97-06. (IV)The SIC code for this solicitation is 4952. The small business size standard is $6.0 million. (V)Item 1: White paper, 5* bales**. Item 2:cardboard bales, 30* bales**. Item 3:Mixed metals, 2* dumpsters***. Item 4: Mixed plastic containers, 1* barrel****. NOTE:(*) approximate quantities per month. (**)bale size is 54"x 48"x 42". (***)30 cu.yd. open top dumpster, supplied at no cost to the government. (****)barrel weight is approximately 45 pounds. (VI)1. The open to dumpster will be picked-up before 6 a.m on the Tuesday following the service call. Due to security, allow 1/2 hour for entering & departing the institution. An empty container will be dropped off at the time of pick-up. 2. The contractor will provide a clean semi-trailer, with a pull-up door & locking latch, at no cost to the government. Pick-up between 7 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday-Friday. 3.Fog/severe weather restrictions or emergency status of the institution will delay pick-up until the following day. Under no circumstances will the government be held responsible for any additional expense to the contractor which may occur due to interruptions in service. (VII)The FOB point shall be destination.
