The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has a requirement for the purchase, delivery, and installation of new laundry equipment for the Dayton, OH VA Medical Center. This equipment consists of two (2) 600LB Capacity washer/extractors. The above capacities are stated at a minimum and additional requirements and specifications for the new equipment are stated in the Solicitation. A site visit by offerors is necessary to assess installation circumstances for the new equipment and the trade-in value of the existing equipment. The VA anticipates release of a Solicitation on or about August 20, 1998. It is anticipated that proposals in response to this Solicitation will be due no later than 3:00 PM September 17, 1998 with award of a contract being made on or about September 25. Delivery and installation of the equipment shall completed within 60 days after contract award. This procurement will be a 100% set-aside for Small Business. A Small Business is defined as a business having less than 500 employees. The SIC Code for this procurement is 3582.
