DAWS(703)806-4442ONcON9a usstas The Military District of Washington, Acquisition Center, Ft Belvoir, Virginia intends to establish a contract for the period of 1 January 1999 through 31 December 1999 with two Option Years for conducting analyses of drinking water and waste water samples for the Directorate of Public Works, Fort Meade, Maryland. The Contractor shall provide all plant, labor, tools, materials and equpment necessary to perform all work required to conduct chemical characterization of water to ensure Fort Meade is in compliance with the Safe Drinking Water Act, the "Permit Conditions" of the National Pollutant Discharge and Elimination Systems and to also ensure that all samples are handled in accordance with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Maryland State Department of the Environment. The SIC for this procurement is 8734 and the size standard is $5 million. This is 100 percent small business set-aside.
