Wolfe, 304/285-5883 The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) in Morgantown, WV has a requirement to purchase accessories for our Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrometer (FTIR) System 2000 which was initially purchased under a GSA contract. The accessories required will allow NIOSH scientists to evaluate permeation properties of protective clothing directly, by scanning the surface of the test specimen. Specific items required are parts as follows: (001) #L1360281, HATR ACCY-FLAT (2000) Horizontal ATR (flat), (2000 GX series); (002) #L1360266, ANSE Trough Top-Plate; (003) #N1870198, SPLIT PEA ACCY for S2000; (004) #L1304820, Photoacoustic (PAS) ACCY for S2000; (005) #01860796, Fixed Angle Specular REFL ACCY; (006) #01860954, Variable Angle Reflectance ACY, Variable Angle Specular Reflectance Accessory; (007) #04977178, Monolayer Grazing Angle ACCY; (008) QSPECIAL GRASEBY SPECAC Golden Gate HATR; and (009) QSPECIAL Pike Miracle 8R HATR. Any accessories (add-on components) must be totally compatible with the FTIR 2000. It is believed that Perkin Elmer, Norwalk, CT is only source for these accessories. If there are other sources capable of providing accessories that are compatible with the FTIR 2000 which will not compromise the warranty/maintenance agreement, they are invited to submit appropriate documentation, literature and references to Brenda L.
