This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial item issued by the Contracting Office, Offutt AFB, NE and prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations document (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: proposals are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number F25600-99-QA010 is being issued as a request for quotations (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-03. Contractor chall provide the following Rate of Turn Table Table, Rate of Turn, Tilt, for the bench check and repair of rate of turn, directional, and displacement gyroscopes. Must have a 360-degree freedom of movement in azimuth and 180 degree freedom of movement for pitch and roll. Must not need re-leveling after each time it is rotated. If the new contract is awarded to other than the holder of this delivery order, the order will be terminated for convenience under the terms of the above-numbered contract and the government will have no further liability under the order.
