Limnological Temperature Profile Monitoring Stations -- Folsom and New
Melones Reservoirs. The purpose of the monitoring stations is to
measure the temperatures throughout the water column of Reclamation
reservoirs, in particular Folsom and New Melones Reservoirs. The
stations would be permanently located in the reservoirs, function at
the full range of reservoir elevations, collect temperature and depth
data at 5-foot depth intervals, collect data at preset time intervals
and also on command from a remote location, convert depth to mean sea
level, and transmit the data to a remote location and ultimately to the
California Environmental Data Exchange Center located in Sacramento,
California. Reclamation is seeking firms that have existing or can

have the experience to develop and design the stations, build
prototypes, and deploy and test the stations. Firms must have knowledge

sources; corrosion; wind, wave and current forces; and other
engineering considerations in an aquatic environment. The estimated
