Armor rock protection on the breakwater will consist of stone ranging from 2,500 lbs to 4,200 lbs. The dredging (approximately 333,000 cy) will be divided into the basic portion (@44,350 cy) and an option (@269,300 cy). It will be disposed offsite in deep water near the site except for a portion (@19,000 cy) near shore to create uplands. A concrete navigation marker base will be constructed at the end of the breakwater. A contractor's staging area will be provided at the harbor site.
