NATIONAL PARK, HOT SPRINGS, SD The National Park Service, Black Hills
Administration Group at Mount Rushmore National Memorial, is seeking
qualified individuals for the purchase Sale/Salvage of a 10,000 Gallon
Road Oil Tank located at Wind Cave National Park, Hot Springs, South
Dakota. Requirements consist of purchase Sale/Salvage of a 10,000
gallon steel tank with two electric heaters (six feet long, 220 volt),
and an 8-foot high steel stand from within Wind Cave National Park.
The tank measures 9 feet in diameter by 21 feet long, and probably
weighs between 6000 and 8000 pounds. It was used to store and heat road
oil for making asphalt. The unit is currently wrapped in
aluminum-backed fiberglass insulation, and has a catwalk with handrail
along it's top. Tank is useable with some repairs required to the
heaters. Tank may contain several gallons of oil sludge that would have
to be disposed of in accordance with State and Federal hazardous waste
disposal procedures. Performance shall consist of tank and materials
