This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation no. F2660098Q2056 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-05. Solicitation is reserved for small business concerns. The SIC for this solicitation is 7217. The small business size standard is $3.5 million in annual gross revenue for the three previous fiscal years. Item description as follows: Non Personal Service to provide all labor, tools, parts, materials, facilities, and transportation necessary to provide quarterly carpet cleaning to approximately 23,350 sq. ft. located in various building throughout Nellis AFB, NV in accordance with the statement of work. The period to be covered is from 1 Oct 98 to 30 Sep 99 with (4) four option years. There are (35) thirty-five line items included in this solicitation. See bid schedule for breakdown. Offers are to be based on a single cleaning of each building. There will be a site visit held on 27 Aug 98. Award will be made to the responsible, responsive offeror whose offer will result in the lowest technically acceptable price. The government will evaluate options for award purpose by adding the total price for all options to the total price for the basic requirement for the total five-year period. The government may determine that an offer is unacceptable if the option prices are significantly unbalanced. Evaluation of options shall not obligate the government to exercise the options.
