This solicitation uses the metric system. The project consists of salvaging, sorting, hauling, and stockpiling 5800 cubic meters of usable roadway construction material to two stockpile sites (4700 cubic meters to be hauled approximately 3.25 Kilometers, and 1100 cubic meters to be hauled approximately 0.25 Kilometers). The work also consists of installing temporary culverts, constructing a haul road across a slide, and disposing of vegetative debris. The site is located on the Wright's Lake Road, approximately 55 Kilometers east of Placerville, CA on U.S. 50. The Wright's Lake Road intersects U.S. 50 on the north side. Approximately 0.8 Kilometers north of U.S. 50, the road is closed as a result of the slide. The repair site will be closed to traffic during construction. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. This procurement will be a small purchase based on the rules and regulations of (FAR Part 13).
