This amendment is to add CLIN 0005 which is an optional item for an additional maximum quantity of ten (10) Seagate Internal 18GB 10,000 RPM Ultra Disk Drive, Seagate Part #ST118202LC with mounting brackets for the disk drive to allow for installation into Sun RSM 2000 RAID array (The Government does not require installation). The Government will evaluate offers for award purposes by adding the total price for the optional CLIN 0005 to the total price for the basic requirement. Evaluation of the optional CLIN 0005 will not obligate the Government to exercise the optional CLIN 0005. The Government reserves the right to order whatever quantity is determined to be advantageous to the Government of optional CLIN 0005, but not to exceed a quantity of 10. Clause 52.217-7 applies to this acquisition and the Contracting Officer may exercise the optional CLIN 0005 at the timeof award.
