Adapter; P/N: D5020GHR, Goniometer Head Riser; P/N: D4310HL Huber large goniometer head (1003); P/N: D5412 Adjustable Goniometer Stud; P/N: D5300BDS, Bicron Detector Stand (tract mounted) and P/N: D32983SC, Bicron Scintillation Counter. This equipment has the precision necessary for the measurements needed on the multilayer films being fabricated in our multilayer facility. Facilities at MIT, Boston University, and Harvard University have used this same equiment and it is necessary that SAO have the same capabilities for energy and angular resolution for sample, detector and monochromator as these laboratories where SAO carries out complementary testing. Data comparison is only possible if SAO uses the same specifications. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This acquisition is being conducted under the guidelines as set forth in the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). No written solicitation will be issued for this requirement.
