The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate and award a fixed price incentive profit contract modification for parts and material necessary to complete the upgrade of twenty-one (21) pre-production F414-GE-400 engines and devices to Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) configuration and the upgrade of two (2) FADEC's under the existing contract for LRIP II, on a sole source basis to General Electric Aircraft Engines (GEAE) located at 1000 Western Avenue, Lynn, MA 01910, the designer and developer of the engine.
