all materials, labor, equipment, and transportation required to
complete this proposed project at the Northeast Area Defense Sector,
Griffiss Business and Technology Park, Rome, New York in strict
compliance with plans and specifications provided by the Government.
The overall scope of work consists of renovation of the mens and womens
latrines located in Building 700. The work shall consist of removal of
all fixtures, floor and wall tile, wall hung mirrors, dispenser,
partitions, and associated plumbing and electrical connections; replace
with new fixtures, floor and wall tile, cabinetry, counters, mirrors,
and partitions. Relocate the showers and handicap toilets, add dressing
area with benches, and install associated new plumbing and electrical
connections. The construction schedule and all elements of the project
will be closely coordinated with the Sector Civil Engineer. The
magnitude of this proposed project is between 25,000 and 100,000. The
work will be bid as a lump sum, firm fixed price contract. The
anticipated performance time for this project is 45 calendar days after
notice to proceed is issued. IFB DAHA30-98-B-0013 will be issued on or
about 20 August 1998, with a bid opening date on or about 22 Sep,
1998. A pre bid conference will be held at the Northeast Area Defense
Sector, 305 Burhanna Road, Rome, New York on 03 Sep 98 at the Sector
Civil Engineers Office at 10:00. All prospective bidders are
recommended to attend. Interested firms may request an IFB package by
submitting a written request to the USPFO-NY, 330 Old Niskayuna Road,
Latham, New York 12210-2224, ATTN: MNPF-PC. This acquisition is being

Standard Industrial Code (SIC) applicable to this project is 1711, size
standard is 7 Million. Interested firms must identify, in writing
whether they will be bidding the project as prime contractor,
subcontractor or supplier and their firms business size (i.e. small,
large, women owned or SBA). Funds are presently not available for this
