FAA EAST COAST SMALL BUSINESS CONFERENCE On October 28 and 29, 1998 the Federal Aviation Administration will be hosting its 2nd East Coast Small Business Conference. It will be held at FAA's Southern Region Headquarters in College Park, Georgia. The conference is sponsored by FAA East Coast Regions (ANE, AEA, ASO), the William J. Hughes Technical Center/ACT, Headquarters Office of Acquisitions/ASU, and the Office of Small Business Utilization/ARA-5. There will be a special emphasis on Socially and Economically Disadvantaged/8(a) and Women Owned Businesses. The conference will feature: Briefings from key experts on procurement reform and FAA's Acquisition Management System, Hands-on training from experts on FAA's internet access, Information on contracting opportunities with FAA, Discussions with FAA Technical amd Procurement Officials, Presentations on FAA's Mentor Protege Program, the National Airspace System (NAS) Architecture and Y2K Information. In addition, companies will be exhibiting the latest in Information Technology.
