This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this announcement. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The only approved source for this solicitation is Allison Engine CO., Indianapolis, IN FSCM: 63005 Solicitation FD2050-98-Q-46106 is issued as an Request for Quotation(RFQ) Line item 0001 is for 246 ea of Vane Assy Comp Air. Size/Dimensions: Approx. 18" dia x 5" wide. The item is used during engine operation as an anti-icing mechanism for the T56 engine. Predominant material is steel. Items will be delivered as follows: 169 ea to Kelly AFB, TX on or before Mar 99 and 77 ea to Jacksonville, FL on or before Mar 99. Items will be shipped FOB Origin, Inspection and Acceptance is COC-Destination.
