The Kootenai National Forest, East Zone Engineering, Fortine Ranger District is soliciting bids for crushing and stockpiling 24000 tons of road surface aggregate at Government pit site. Also included is crushing of 1300 tons of surface treatment aggegate chips; in addition, 1064 tons of chips shall be hauled approximately 12.5 miles and stockpiled. The remainder of the 236 tons of chips shall be stockpiled at crushing site. Work includes pit development, pit road reconstruction, and installation of Government furnished 12"x50' CMP and pit restoration. Complete by 8/15/99.
