LIQUIDATION OF ARMY AMMUNITION PALNT SURPLUS PROPERTY Earth Tech is contracted to liquidate selected assets at the Badger Army Ammunition Plant located in Baraboo, WI. There are3169 surplus property items of propellant production and auxillary equipment located in 352 buildingsacross the plant. Items include: solvent recovery unit plant (built in 1991 and never used), power plant (steam generation -- caol fired), single base propellant lines, hydraulic presses (over 100 -- various types), blowers compressors, air tanks, material handling equipment (hoists, cranes, conveyors), generators and electric motors, instrumentation and controls, process machinery, (mixers, macerators, beaters, mills), pumps, tanks (over 500 total -- 300 of which are stainless -- many with agitators), benzene extraction process plant, acid plant (acid oxidation plant for weak nitric acid production, nitric acid concentrator, sulfuric acid concentrator) and pollution control equipment.
