synopsis of a requirement for commercial services prepared in
accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with
additional information included in the notice. A written solicitation
will be issued upon request. This is a request for quotation (RFQ)
number DTCG80-98-Q-AWL081. This solicitation document will incorporate
provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition
Circular 97-05. The standard industrial classification code is 3441
and the size standard is 500 employees. The requirement is for the
following: 1. (3) EA RH Door with a 14" x 18" Fixed Light 2. (3) EA LH
Door with a 14" x 18" Fixed Light 3. (3) EA RH Door with a 9" Diameter
Fixed Light 4. (3) EA LH Door with a 9" Diameter Fixed Light. Door, LH
26" x 66" clear opening, Weather tight, 13 PSI(min) IAW U.S. Coast
Guard DWG FL-1602-48, CRES knife edge type frame; Door shall be
complete with dogs, gasket, hasp & staple. Stainless steel lever type
knobs and interior mortise type lock, Corbin Russwin ML2265, shall be
provided. Keying and master keying info to be specified later. The door
shall have a 14" x 18" clear opening, fixed light. Its glass
heat-treated for maximum strenght. In general, inorganic primer,
MIL-P23236 shall be used to finish parts. Individually galvanized
parts, where required, shall not be painted. All Doors shall not be
completely galvanized. Gaskets to be IAW MIL-R-900F. Ship to Commanding
Officer, NESU BOSTON, 427 Commercial Street, Boston, MA 02109. Required
delivery date 30 January 1999. Specifications to be provided on
request. The government will award a contract resulting from this
solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the
solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and
other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to
