Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service, Midwest Area, has a project entitled Install Fire Protection Yard Hydrants, National Center for Agricultural Utilization Research (NCAUR), Peoria, IL. The work includes but is not limited to: Underground pipe installation; connection of piping to existing mains operated by the Illinois American Water Co. under City of Peoria Streets; cutting and patching of black top drives and parking lot and horizontal boring under Nebraska Street. The Magnitude of Construction is estimated between $100,000 and $250,000. The period of performance will be 210 calendar days after receipt of a Notice to Proceed. A Bid Bond as well as Performance and Payment Bonds shall be required. The solicitation will be issued as Request for Proposal No. 5114-8-3094 and will be available on or about August 20, 1998, with proposals to be received not later than the Close of Business (4:00 p.m (CST)), September 21, 1998. The solicitation is issued pursuant to full and open competition and is unrestricted. Standard Industrial Classification Code of 1623, with a corresponding size standard of $17.0M.
