The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) for this project is 1611 -- Highway and Street Construction, Except Elevated Highways. The size standard is $17.0 Million. Work includes providing miscellaneous paving, pothole and sidewalk repairs to include but not be limited to, roadways, walkways, patios, recreational areas and boat ramps; work at predetermined labor prices and material discount rates; and incidental related work as set forth in the Schedule of Indefinite Quantity. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, transportation, material, equipment and supervision necessary to fulfill requirements of Delivery Orders issued by the Contracting Officer. The duration of the contract is one year, with the possibility of two one-year option periods. The date of availability of the solicitation is 22 August 1998. No phone requests will be accepted. Contractors within the local area are encouraged to pick up a copy of the plans and specs at the office of the Officer in Charge of Construction, Building 2034. The hours of operation are 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Please note that the Plans and Specs will be issued on a "first come, first serve basis". There will be no charge for these documents, however, there will be only one set issued per contractor. The estimated cost range is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00.
