Design-Build services to rehabilitate existing training facilities at various CONUS and OCONUS installations. Contract will be an indefinite delivery contract of one base year and multiple option years. The Government may award more than one contract for these services. Required services will require the site investigation and survey of existing facilities, design for rehabilitation to new standards, construction of new classrooms, and fully furnishing rooms as required. Investigation and survey of existing rooms includes evaluation of existing spaces, electrical, lighting, HVAC systems, life safety, and accessibility to evaluate suitability of space for improvements in accordance with current criteria, and development of a detailed scope of work for the Agency to recommend selection of the site for inclusion in the program. Design includes the design and development of demolition and new work for architectural, interior design, mechanical, electrical, and communications and cost estimates for the work. Build includes, but is not limited to, the demolition of existing walls, ceilings, doors, lighting, etc., the construction of new raised floors, suspended acoustic ceilings, acoustic wall coverings, new lighting, electrical distribution, supplemental heating and cooling, controls, alarm and detection for light safety, and fully furnishing rooms with student desks, instructor work stations, chairs, printer stands, and equipment racks.
