This synopsis is being issued to clarify the previous synopsis issued for solicitation PR-CI-98-12221 for on-site cafeteria services at the Andrew W. Briedenbach Environmental Research Center (AWBERC) located in Cincinnati, Ohio. A determination has been made that EPA is authorized to pay a fixed sum (monthly management fee) as a subsidy to the contractor that is awarded this contract. Therefore, offerors will be asked to propose a fixed monthly management fee (firm fixed price) as part of their response to this solicitation. In addition, EPA has requested a revised wage determination from the Department of Labor. Upon receipt of the revised wage determination, it will be incorporated into the solicitation. If the revised wage determination is not received prior to proposal receipt, it will be incorporated into the next option period. All responsible offerors may submit a proposal. Copies of the solicitation are available on the Internet. Offerors should visit EPA's home page (http://www.eap.gov/oam/cinn_cmd) for continuous status.
