D -- NIMBUS ROMWARE DATABASE -- DOS TO WINDOWS CONVERSION SOL N68057-98-Q-2032 DUE 081498 POC Sylvia Sutton, (757)445-4096 NCTAMS LANT intends to award a simplifice acquisition purchase order for labor and materials to convert a DOS NIMBUS ROMWARE Program to a Windows NIMBUS ROMWARE Program. The program shall maintain the look feel, and functionability of the current program. Product will be distributed on multiple optical disks. The interface shall access/search data that spans multiple disks as well as updated data, via the web located on a remote database server. The Windows interface will retain current and include new features that encourage preferred usage of the optical disk (opposed to the web) for search and retrieval of vast amounts of data. Completion of the interface is required within 12 weeks. Interested parties are encouraged to respond to this announcement within 5 days of its publication and submit in writing name, address, point of contact, telephone and fax numbers, and a brief statement regarding capabilities to provide the specific service.
