National Forest, located in southern New Mexico plans to award a firm
fixed price contract for this project which includes the demolition,
removal, and replacement of TWO steel standpipes used for storage of
potable water. One standpipe is located at the Mayhill Administrative
Site, located on the Sacramento Ranger District near Mayhill, New
Mexico. The existing Mayhill standpipe is approximately 15,000 gallons
in size and will be replaced by a tank of similar volume. A low level
access road, less than 500 ft. in length, will also be constructed in
conjunction with the 15,000 gallon tank. The standpipe is located at
the Queen Administrative Site, on the Guadalupe Ranger District, near
Carlsbad, New Mexico. The existing Queen standpipe is approximately
20,000 gallons in size and will be replaced by a tank of similar
volume. Adequate access to the tank is available. The proposed contract
