The Navy has a requirement to manufacture 2,000 each Base Coupling Assemblies in accordance with Naval Sea Systems Command Drawing 6537673 and associated drawings. Military specifications such as MIL-C-26074, MIL-G-45204, MIL-M-19595, WS 18967, and WS 22341 apply in the manufacture of this requirement. The Government will provide the DXN-1 explosive material required for the MK 113 MOD 0 detonators. All acceptance tests/inspections shall be performed by the Contractor in accordance with Drawing 653673. A Pre-Award Survey applies prior to award. A Firm-fixed price purchase order will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures and is reserved for Small Business. The applicable SIC code is 2892 and the size standard is 750 employees or less. Delivery is required F.O.B. Crane 180 days after effective date of award. It is anticipated that a formal RFQ will be issued to satisfy this requirement. FAR Part 12 procedures will not apply.
