W -- LEASE OF EXECUTIVE STYLE SEDANS (CLASS IV) SOL FA441699Q0052 DUE 081298 POC Linda Morrill, Contract Specialist, 301-981-2315 This is a combined synopsis/Request for Quotation (RFQ) for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-41. This acquisition is unrestricted. The SIC Code is 7515 -- $18.5 million. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to Andrews AFB MD. Responses to the RFQ must be received by 12 Aug 98 not later than 3:00 pm EST. Delivery and Finance addresses will be provided upon award. Award is based on the following factors: (1) Meeting specifications (2) Delivery requirements (3) Price Requirement is for the lease of Four (4) large size sedans for use by Executive Drivers Section for DV support. Vehicle specifications required: Exterior color -- Black/Charcolor Dark Blue, (Government will determine if or equal color is acceptable). Interior Color -- Light Grey, Four Door, Tinted Windows, Rear Leg Room -- 41 inches minimum, Rear head room -- 37 inches minimum, Trunk size -- 16 CU FT minimum, Must have the ability to install mobile phone (usually requires small hole in carpet). Must have normal plates on vehicles. Total of 4 cars per month X 12 months -- 48 each. Period of performance is 01 Oct 98 -- 30 Sep 99. Maintenance must be included in price. Product literature and specifications must be provided with proposal. Government reserves the right to inspect vehicles upon delivery for conformance to specifications.
