The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Agricultural Marketing Service has announced plans to purchase frozen cooked diced chicken meat produced from fowl for school lunch and other domestic feeding programs. Offers will be invited from the trade for fully cooked, individually quick frozen (IQF) diced chicken packed in four 10-pound packages to a net weight of 40 pounds in a shipping container with 1,000 containers per purchase unit. Bids are being accepted every first and third Monday of each month until program requirements are met.
