FISC San Diego is announcing its intent to issue a combined synopsis/RFQ for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. A SEPARATE WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Quotes are being requested with this synopsis. The solicitation number is N00244-98-Q-0371. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-04 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. The standard industrial code is 3571 and the business size standard is 1000 employees. The agency need is for computers delivered to the Fleet ASW Training Center in San Diego Ca. Delivery shall be made FOB Dest. The items being requested are as follows: clin 0001 is for four (4) each P2/266 computers with the following specifications; 32MB ram, 4 MB video ram, 3.2 gig Hard drive, 24X CD ROM, 10/100 NIC, 17" monitors, removable hard drive installed with a three year warranty. (These systems must be year 2000 compliant.) Clin 0002 is for one (1) each Pentium II 300 MHz base system computer with the following specifications: 64 M ram, 4.3 gig IDE hard drive, 1.44 FDD, 4 MB video, keyboard, mouse, tower case with four open full bays, 3 COM 10/100 network card, Adaptec ultra wide SCSI adapter, 7 drive SCSI external CD ROM tower with 24X CD ROM. Clin 0003 is for fourteen (14) each Pentium 200MMX computer, TX MB, 32 MB ram, 1.44 FDD, 2.5 gig, Trident PCI w/4MB, 17" SVGA, SB.16, speakers, 32X CD ROM, keyboard mouse, 3 COM, WIN NT 4.0 workstation. All computers must be year 2000 compliant. Acceptance shall be made at destination. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items applies. Addendum to FAR 52.212-1, paragraph (b)(5): Offers shall provide an express warranty which at a minimum shall be the same warranty terms, including offers of extended warranties, offered to the general public. Express warranties shall be included in the contract.
