This is amendment 001 to synopsis/solicitation N00019-98-R-0031 for Ruggedized High Resolution Displays used in the AN/TSQ-142(v5/6) system. The purpose of this amendment is to provide the model number of the display currently utilized in the AN/TSQ-142(v5/6) system. The monitor which is being replaced is a Hitachi HM4520D, which has been modified with the following changes: 1) Ruggedized case with rack mount fitting as specified in solicitation N00019-98-R-0031; 2) Mumetal EMI/EMC shielding; 3) Display controls moved to forward face of monitor to allow operator controls and to meet outside dimension requirements specified in solicitation N00019-98-R-0031. This information is provided to assist contractors in developing proposals for displays which are interchangeable with the current monitors on a form, fit, and function level.
