This project consist of Aerial Gunnery Range for Army Rotary wing and Air National Guard fixed wing joint mission requirements. Work includes construction of a tower, and associated support facilities. Single phase power will be run to support facilities and terminate there. The existing ammo loading dock will be demolished and replaced with an ammo dock located a sufficient distance from the facilities. Relocate a generator, hazardous storage building, magazine storage building and a gate from Range 35. Enclose the existing mess facility. Construct wetland mitigation and perform unexploded ordinance clearing as required. Provide two target arrays, with trails and tree clearing for targets. Construct new roads, rehab existing roads and replace a deteriorated bridge. Place two bomb circles and four strafe pits, along with associated solar and or generator powered scoring and viewing systems. Place solar and/or generator powered threat emitter systems. Perform blasting and tree clearing as required. Replace the existing Forward Area Arm and Refuel Point (FAARP), with a new FAARP at a designated site. The estimated construction cost range is from $5,000,000.00 to $10,000,000.00. Completion time is 360 calendar days after recipt of Notice to Proceed. The SIC Code is 1542.
