Design, supply, delivery, and installation of prestressed, prefabricated concrete bridge deck panels and two (2) abutments. Bridge shall be an 18 foot single span deck with 15 inch depth; abutments shall be six (6) feet tall from bottom of footing to top of stem wall. All connections between abutment sections and bridge deck panels shall be designed. Installation of the bridge abutments requires least disturbance to the creek, according to drawings, specifications, and Best Management Practices (BMP). Earthwork for excavation and backfill behind abutments, along with construction of wing walls is also part of this work. Estimated price range is $25,000 to $100,000. Package is expected to be available approximately 08/10/98. Pre-bid tour is scheduled for 09/02/98. Meet at Black Rock Work Center at 10 am. Project site is approximately 1 hour from the Work Center. Directions to Black Rock Work Center: From Reno, NV, travel 320 miles south on US Highway 395 to Nine Mile Canyon Road (approx 2 miles north of Pearsonville, CA). Take Nine Mile Canyon Road approximately 40 miles to Black Rock Work Center -- Sequoia National Forest. Directions from Black Rock Work Center to Project Site for those who do not join Pre-Bid Tour: Stop at Work Center and ask for the combination to the gated jeep road to Monache Meadows, in case the gate is locked. Take Forest Road 21S36 for approximately 3 miles until the intersection with a gated 4WD jeep trail 34E48, signed "Monache Meadows 8". Travel 3-1/2 miles along the jeep trail to Snake Creek, the project site. Travel time from the junction of US 395 and Nine Mile Road to the project site is two (2) hours.
