Y -- CONSTRUCTION OF SHEET PILING FOR RETENTION POND SOL F406500-98-B-0024 DUE 091898 POC Tony Clayborne, Contracting Officer, (931) 454-7841 This requirement is to install 220 linear feet of interlocking sheet piling in an existing retention reservoir at water depths from 0 to approximately 12 feet. The contractor will also be required to modify the terminal pile (north end of the wall) to permit tie-in of the existing boom/curtain installation. The piling material shall be AZ-13 pile configuration, ASTM A690 steel or ASTM A6 steel with the application of two 10 mil. coats of Sherwin-Williams B69B40/B60V40 or equal cold tar epoxy enamel. The performance period shall be 60 calendar days after issuance of notice to proceed. The estimated magnitude is between $100,000 and $250,000. Any responsible source may submit a bid which shall be considered. Firms responding to this synopsis shall do so in writing and indicate whether they are a minority business concern.
