Furnish labor, transportation, parts, tools, materials, and equipment necessary to perform preventive maintenance and repair services on the Army Standard Information Management System (ASIMS) and Information Management Area (IMA) and like equipment, that are under Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) warranty at Fort Hood, Texas for a period of twelve months as required by Solicitation DAKF48-98-R-0010. The types of equipment to be repaired and maintained includes: display stations with keyboards, printers, controllers, modems, and external drives. The contract resulting from this solicitation will be a Time-and-Materials Requirements type service contract with an anticipated start date of 1 October 1998 and continue through 30 September 1999. The Standard Industrial Classification code (SIC) for this acquisition is 7378, with a size standard of $18 million. This requirement is not considered to be a commercial item. This solicitation shall be issued electronically and available for viewing at the following web site: www.hood-doc.army.mil. The tentative issue date is on or about 18 August 1998.
