POC Contract Specialist Cathy I. Collins (301) 619-2383 (Site Code
DAMD17) The Department of Medicinal Chemistry, Division of Experimental
Therapeutics, (WRAIR) requires a 600 MHz, three channel nuclear
megnetic resonance spectrometer with 5.2 cm bore. Shielded magnet must
reduce stray fields and decrease volume enclosed by the 5 gauss
surface by a factor of 10. Five gauss line from magnetic center must be
2.5 meters or less axially and 1.8 meters or less axially. Spectrometer
cabinet must have Rf shielding with full front access to all
sub-assemblies and cabling. Rf section must have linear array amplifier
for 1H/19F observe and homoheteronuclear 1H/19F decoupling; 100 watt
linear pulse power, 10 watt linear CW. Digital acquisition control
system must have communication control for communication between
spectrometer and the host computer. Host workstation must have at least
180 MHz, 64 MB memory, 2 GB disk, 1280 X 1024 17 inch monitor, internal
4X CDROM and all necessaary development and software right-to-use
licenses. Peripherals must include: HP LaserJet 6L printer and table
for work station and printer. Probes and other features must include:
assessory for generation of gradients with up to 50 gauss/cm and liquid
chromatography/NMR accessory. Support and installation must include two
tuitions to training course, complete set of system documentation and
manuals, complete installation of system and system warranty on all
