This requirement will be evaluated on a best value basis. The contract will be for a base year and four (4) one (1) year options, plus an option to extend services for an additional six (6) months. The requirement will require the offeror to furnish court reporting services, deposition rooms, transcripts, and diskettes for depositions, and related proceedings held in the Continental United States and overseas by the Navy Litigation Office of the General Counsel, United States Navy. The proposed contract is being considered as a 100 percent set-aside for small business concerns, as defined by the clause at 52.219-6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation. Interested Small Businesses should provide the contracting office as early as possible, but not later than 15 days after this notice, evidence of their capability to perform the contract, and a positive statement of their eligibility as a small business.
