Purpose of contracts are to 1) conduct pinniped food habits analysis and database management under solicitation WASC-8-1621, 2)conduct studies on food habits and foraging behavior of California sea lions and age of natural mortality of California sea lions under solicitation WASC-8-1620, and 3) conduct pinniped food habits processing and analysis under solicitation WASC-8-1619. Interested individuals on solicitation WASC-8-1621 must possess a minimum bachelor's degree in biology or a related field such as wildlife biology, zoology, or fisheries. Interested individuals on solicitations WASC-8-1619 and WASC-8-1620 must have a minimum two-year associates degree in biology or a related field such as zoology, wildlife, or fisheries, or three years of completed studies toward a bachelors degree in biology with some academic background or experience in fish and mammal biology. Termsof contracts are one year in duration. All work will be performed at NMML facilities in Seattle, WA, with some field work required during summer 1999. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. These are simplified acquisitions with estimated contract values of less than $100,000.
